What might the new day bring? Some days we awake full of hope and excitement for the new day but some days we may be a bit more pensive. There is a definite element of sadness to the beginning. The mid section, particularly when all the high strings come in, brings in a hint of hope. Then, when the ostinatos come in, it feels like determination. The ending has a tenderness and, if not hope, maybe at least a bit of acceptance.
