From the recording Seeking Solace
This is a song I wrote to help me process what was, at the time, a pretty big disappointment for me. As I composed the song I could feel three distinct scenes:
Scene 1 - Dealing with a loss, contemplating what’s next
Scene 2 - Beginnings of hope and resolve
Scene 3 - Closing scene - triumphant
