It’s time for another leaked track. - “Should I Tell Her (That I Love Her). The story in my head as I developed this song was of a guy who is in love with a woman but he knows nothing could ever come of it and so is afraid to say anything. I even had a bit of a lyric come to mind (which is unusual for me). If you listen at the start you may be able to hear how this lyric fits - “Should I tell her that I lover her, should I take a chance on love?”. To me this song has a very tender element to it and goes through a range of emotions as he wrestles with this question. I had loads of fun with this arrangement and there are multiple “voices” that do some call and response elements throughout the piece. Even the bass guitar gets a turn at the end.
